The Welding Lab is both part of the company training Academy, and a Center of excellence training open to collaborations with technical institutes, professional schools and partners such as employment agencies and other companies.
MarmoinoX Academy
The Laboratory, equipped with advanced technologies – in particular dedicated to TIG welding (Tungsten Inert Gas) – has the objective to increase the competences of the internal team of the company through specialized technical training.
The goal is not “only” the upskilling of employees but the possibility to continuously improve thanks to the equipment and the experts present in the Welding Lab and therefore to advance in one’s career, day after day, until reaching excellence in the sector.

From technical institutes and professional schools to companies and employment agencies, up to single professionals, our didactic laboratory is a point of reference in the Asti territory for anyone who wants to develop new competences, highly required by the market.
MarmoinoX makes available to participants: know-how with welding instructors of very high quality, tools such as innovative didactic benches for a class up to 10 welders and paths towards sector certifications.

- Number of welding cylinders: 5 argon gas cylinders
- Number of masks: 5 Gysmatic True Color XL helmets with filter system and certification
- Number of multi-purpose trolleys: 5, each equipped with a grinder, polisher and compressed air unit
- Screen dimensions: 20 m Lansflex 3-panel screen on wheels to block UV rays
Welding Lab Courses
Level 1 - Basic
- Duration: 16 hours
- Intended for: Beginners
- Objective: To acquire the theoretical and practical basics of manual welding
Contents:
- Safety in workshop and PPE
- Principles of metallurgy: reading the characteristics of steel
- Coated electrode welding (MMA) and introduction to continuous wire (MAG)
- Exercises on T joints and flat position
Result: Ability to perform tack welds and simple weldings independently
Level 2 - Intermediate
- Duration: 24 hours
- Intended for: Operators with basic experience, companies wishing to retrain their staff
- Objective: To master the TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) technique specifically for stainless steel
Contents:
- TIG technique
- Welding of thin sheets and stainless profiles for the food/wine sector
- Preparation of edges and post-welding cleaning (pickling)
- Interpretation of welding symbols in technical drawing
Result: Autonomy in the realization of complex stainless steel products
Level 3 - Advanced
- Duration: 40 hours
- Intended for: Professionals, experienced welders, companies requiring certification
- Objective: Excellence in execution and preparation for the award of the ‘Welding Certificate’
Contents:
- TIG weldings of sheets and pipes in position (for enomechanical and chemical plants)
- Optimization of times and reduction of waste
Result: Achievement of the professional qualification (License) according to international standards
